Growing up on the south side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 21Baby built his identity from the neighborhood that raised him. His stage name comes directly from the intersection of 21st Street and Rogers, where he spent his childhood. The oldest of four brothers and a proud father of two young sons, he carries the responsibility of leadership both at home and in his music. With strong Mexican roots, 21Baby represents his culture, family, and city with pride in everything he creates.
Before fully committing to music, 21Baby spent two years playing college basketball, learning discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. His passion for music first began during his sophomore year of high school, when he and his friends would freestyle during lunch just for fun. Inspired by legendary storytellers like J. Cole, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Mobb Deep, and 2Pac, he connected with the honesty in their music and realized he had stories of his own to tell.
Encouraged by the people around him, 21Baby stepped into the studio at 19 years old and immediately fell in love with recording. What started as writing poems and lyrics became a true passion and an outlet for releasing stress, expressing emotion, and sharing his experiences. Since then, he has dedicated himself to sharpening his craft and developing into an artist with a message that resonates beyond the music.
Today, 21Baby is focused on building a lasting career that creates opportunities for his family and inspires those around him to keep chasing their dreams. His goals include performing on bigger stages, touring, collaborating with artists and producers, and expanding his reach throughout the music industry.
